Origin:
Native to Turkey and its southern and southeastern shores of the Black Sea; at 1.500 – 2.400 m altitude in woodland and scrub or in meadows

Laboratory comment:
We keep it for essential mentioning Alan Mitchell´s dark clones of Lilium ciliatum (Lcil5) separately as it is quite unusual in both colour and pattern.
