Lilium pyrophilum M. W. Skinner & Sorrie 2002

Origin:
The species´ native range mainly is the Eastern part of North Carolina. It´s about a very rare lily even in the wild.

Laboratory comment:
It took years until we could close the gap by obtaining some scales from a plant cultivated in Sweden. Thanks to Peter Tallbo for this precious donation.
